Everyone have seen the scifi flicks and wonders, will that ever happen? Will we live in space one day?

There is many evidence of global warming and other global problems. Yes, mainly caused by us humans. The world cannot hold unlimited human lives, if humans would never die, the world would not survive as long as it has. 

Sad, but a reality of life! However, we have come to where the world is at its breaking point. How many years does it have left? We dont know, we leave that question for the professionals to answer. We all have plenty of concerns about our childrens future and their offsprings. What are we leaving them? Our mess? A polluted and contaminated world? A world where global warming is alarmingly increasing?

Or, just perhaps, there is actually something being done? Maybe, Nasa is building multiple space stations which will become the new world of the future! 

A space station with malls to shop, homes, parks, daily jobs. All ofcourse within the station. 

Space shuttles as vehicles and forms of transportation. 

As all this seems just like a scifi movie, how far are we really from this becoming a reality?
